Niamh Cullinane Photography | About

Thanks for stopping by :-)

In my mind at least, photography is a form of magic!
Forever freezing in time a moment in history, a place, a smile.
Moments to recall over and over again through photographs in the years yet to come.

Weddings are magical events in themselves, even in the worst of weather that Ireland consistently throws at us! So sometimes, when I'm back at the office and processing wedding images, I kinda feel a bit like a magician and happily smile back at a captured smile!!

I believe that personality is as important as skill when it comes to photographing weddings & I believe that being a female wedding photographer (& a bride not too long ago!) gives me a very different perspective.

I also believe that every couple has the right to choose what's right for them on their wedding day, whether that means following family traditions to the letter or creating entirely new ones. This goes for everything related to the day, not just the style of photography you choose.

My approach to wedding photography is personal, informal & relaxed and I love what I do (I did mention the magician bit, right!?).

I'm a wedding photographer. For me, that means, I cover every kind of wedding - religious ceremonies, civil ceremonies, civil partnership ceremonies and anything in between! I want to capture the essense of your wedding - both the informal moments that document your day and also those requiring a little more direction.

I live in beautiful West Cork, close to Bandon and Clonakilty and I travel all around Munster for weddings. I hold a fellowship with the Irish Photographic Federation - their highest distinction. I've won awards for my photography. I'm insured. I use professional Canon gear (including backups). I'm an active member of Cork Camera Group. I LOVE flowers and tea and the colour purple and walking in the rain! Oh, and I believe in magic :-)

If you would like to read some of the things that my lovely past clients have said, please take a look in 'Notes from clients' and if you would like to do a little more internet stalking, my facebook page is a great place to catch up with my latest wedding day adventures! ;-)

I'd be delighted to discuss your wedding photographic requirements with you. Please don't hesitate to get in touch. Thanks for taking the time to have a look around my website. I hope you enjoyed your visit.

Niamh :-)
